Teseo Data Lab Joins the OpenAI Partner Network at the Select Tier

Results are built on decisions. And more and more, those decisions are built on data and artificial intelligence. But saying what you can do is one thing; proving it is another.
Today we are sharing important news: Teseo Data Lab is an active member of the OpenAI Partner Network at the Select tier.
For us, this is more than a point of pride. It reflects the path we have built over the past few years—data, advanced econometrics and industry intelligence—and it drives us to keep developing technology for industry in Mexico, Latin America and other markets. The news also coincides with OpenAI DevDay 2026, OpenAI's annual developer conference in San Francisco. At the end, we cover what was announced and what it means for companies.

Being an active member of the OpenAI Partner Network at the Select tier means Teseo Data Lab is part of the network of companies OpenAI works with to bring its models to organizations. For our clients, it means closer access to the OpenAI ecosystem and external recognition of our ability to build with AI.
Teseo Data Lab is evolving from a data intelligence firm into an AI, Data & Industry Intelligence firm: data, advanced econometrics and applied AI combined to solve more complex business problems. It is the result of years of work with models, not a change of direction.
For years we said: “Let others have opinions. You have data.” Today we are taking one more step, because it is no longer only about having data. It is about what we are able to build with it.
That evolution rests on four pillars:
For clients, it speeds up the move from AI experiments to business infrastructure: OpenAI language models integrated on top of the data, econometric models and sector knowledge Teseo already works with. AI is not the strategy. Better decisions are. AI is how you get there sooner and at greater scale.

This is what the path looks like, from market intelligence to a decision system:
| Stage | What it solves | Where we work on it |
|---|---|---|
| Market intelligence | Sizing a market and knowing where the demand is | Industry Research |
| Predictive models | Anticipating demand, price or risk with your own data | Predictive Intelligence |
| AI agents | Systems that query, draft and carry out tasks on your information | AI Agents for Businesses |
| Automation | Removing repetitive manual work from operations | Process Automation |
| Data infrastructure | Getting clean data to everything above, on time | Data Pipeline |
The difference from a generic AI implementation is the order: first the decision you want to improve, then the data that supports it, and the tool last. If you are evaluating vendors, we wrote a guide with 7 criteria for choosing an AI company in Mexico that applies to any of them, including us.
Teseo Data Lab attended OpenAI DevDay 2026, held on September 29 in San Francisco. OpenAI described it as its biggest edition yet: more than 20 announcements across ChatGPT, Codex, its models and new ways of working with AI. The common thread is clear: AI is no longer just answering questions; it is starting to take on continuous work, as a team with people.
According to OpenAI's official recap, these are the most relevant points for companies:
New ways of working
Tools for building
ChatGPT as a platform
People and AI working together
For companies, the takeaway is clear: agents stop being an experiment and become a layer of work connected to everyday tools. The model is no longer the bottleneck; value is defined by well-organized data, clear rules for agents and processes with a defined owner.
What we learned at DevDay expands what we can build, but it does not change our method. We still start with the business problem, validate every model against metrics agreed on in advance and deliver results the client can measure. Technology changes fast; the rigor with which it is used is what makes it useful.
WE BUILD WITH DATA.
